Just like how the media portrays a scoped hunting rifle as a "high powered sniper rifle capable of penetrating armor from 300nm" It's just what sells.

I got a Marlin 1895 guide gun in .45/70. 37" Overall Length, 18" barrel. 6+1 Capacity. Shoots MOA. If I can't stop the bear with 7 well placed 400 grain chunks of lead, the bear deserves a free meal.

You just get used to it. I remember my first couple of lessons I got queezy in a 30 degree bank. Few hours in that's nothing. When my instructor first demonstrated spins, that sucked, but once I got hands on and was in control didn't bother me at all. I found being in control helps a lot. Some of it...
