Re: Jazz Chief Pilots and DFO

They ask if you know who the President and CEO are. Colin Copp and Joseph Randell. That's really all you need to know. If they ask who the VP of Flight Ops is, that's Steve Linthwaite, and Director of Flt Ops is Cal Purves. I don't see them asking anything further than that. Awesome. I really appre...

Re: Air Canada's New Livery

From my understanding the blue paint job costs twice as much in $$$ AND weight on the A/C. The colour blue costs X $ and weighs Y...the sparkles also cost X and weigh Y. Now your paying 2X and 2Y to have a sparkly paint job than can not be retouched by maintenance when it starts to fall apart. Just ...

The only thing you would carry forward to the flight line is your employee number and travel seniority.
Everything else starts as zero on day one of GS

Air Transat to test New Taxi Technology

Kind of a neat concept...good luck to all Also, wasn't this an option on the Dreamliner that no one signed up for? Air Transat to test taxiing system that could save costs, bring down emissions Air Transat is planning to test and deploy a new system next year that would allow an aircraft to taxi fro...

Re: New hire bids

That's pretty cool. It seems to be that positions being offered are very diverse from class to class. In the end, we all agreed when we applied to Jazz that regardless of what base or plane we get, even if we're the last pick, we'd be okay with it. I certainly will be. Sure, we all have our prefere...

All are based on seniority except for overtime flying which is first come first served on the website. But they call people on WDO (work on day off) based on seniority but you go to the bottom if you have already done a WDO that month. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Magnetron is somewhat correct....
