As I just explained to Rezy , here , the WPDL is dead. We are just awaiting the funeral arrangements to be published. I spen...

Re: WestJet pilots to fly Swoop aircraft

Word on the street is that it has been agreed upon by the WJ MEC and management have come to an agreement to have all Teal and Pink aircraft flown by current WJ pilots. Haven't heard any details except job action is off the table and both parties agreed to mediations and binding arbitration if nece...

The ULCC model works in Europe for a few particular reasons: - High density of population within small distances. - Ability to easily connect big metro center by air or ground mass transit - Tax loopholes (Ryanair, Norwegian, etc) - P2F and/or and self sponsored type ratings flight crews None of th...

Re: EIC buys MFC

I doubt that. Look at Chorus Aviation's financials. CPA's pay shit for ROI. I have no idea how you came up with that statement. Every financial they have had is up 10-20% across the board. The only decrease is in CPA incentive pay for not meeting OTP etc (approx 4% decrease). The stock is up 50% ov...

No shortage of 250hr wonders but they have instructors (+90). If they can keep instructors around by offering them jobs at one of their subsidiaries then it may work. At least a few of EIC companies already hire their instructors. But why would they want to work at Wasaya/Bearskin/... if westjet an...

I really don't care about the PHD and his word processor or how many pages he can pump out. As someone who's boots on the ground and in the industry (not the militar...

Is there actually any prohibition on the use of this fuel, if it is already in your aircraft? We've filled up our RV-7a at Springbank several times since December 28, and haven't observed any issues. Is there any reason why we can't fly off the fuel that is currently in the tanks? Personally I'd as...

Its just a shame that with one small mistake means completely blacklisted from being able to work airside.
