That picture looks like somebody who did not leave themselves enough room to turn? That is very common in ski flying. I would have to see the tracks further back. I suppose somebody could groundloop a skiplane. It would take some work, but I suppose some pilots would be able to pull the maneuver off?

I have seen it happen more then once where a Beaver friction lock does not work properly. That's usually from people pumping the throttle every start with it tightened all the way. That's a separate thread however. Anyways the guy goes bouncing along over the waves while the power slowly comes back....

Thank God for that. I have not seen many employees I would want flying airplanes with hundreds of people on-board over the past decade. There were some in the decade or two before that but not many these days.

The faster we get those self flying planes the better.

The years of trophies for losers and the effort to stop bullying in schools has resulted in a generation of useless babies. Lets pray Boeing gets those pilot-less planes going asap.

Thank God, the thought of putting my family on airplanes flown by the entitled Millennials I have seen over the past decade is terrifying.
