I wear flannel shirts, fly old bushplanes, am completely non polically correct and suffer from machoism! With that said, I couldn't care less if you are of the other persuasion. Really, from a washout......... The only washout is the company who's flying broken down rj's with ridiculous attrition rates that you seem to be so well educated on. Ggn is an absolute joke and what they make passengers go through is horrible. Just take a stroll down that terminal late one night. ...

Actually we block around 85h a month, way more if you want to do overtime... that's almost $39k a year plus $5k in perdiems, just giving you the facts. Captains make around $75k with some making more than a 100k with a crazy amount of overtime. It's not perfect but it's definitely not a pay cut fro...

Re: Air canada wants to challenge outsourcing ruling
This whole thing is ridiculous. Why t is AC the only airline that is legally required to do their maintence etc at specific bases? Everyone else can outsource if they want. The Act is outdated and should be cancelled. Yes, I agree. In fact, to make Air Canada more cost competitive, they should be a...

If you haven't had a reply, then how are you in the pool? I received an email from HR telling me that I have been placed in the hiring pool. The question was to see if those in the pool had received a start date.NickyNick wrote:YESesp803 wrote:Are you sure?

Re: Georgian CRJ Work schedule question.
Actually, I did do a search, but other than some ranting and bashing ( much like yourself), I found nothing about schedules. Please accept my humble apologizes for thinking that an aviation forum was a good place to ask this type of question . I guess I should have known better.

Georgian CRJ Work schedule question.
Does anyone know what a normal schedule might be like? Would a new employee (CRJ Captain or FO) be required to work every weekend, or is it able to have a weekend free, once in awhile? Please feel free to PM me, if you like.

Kelowna Flightcraft moving to YYZ
I just read this today. Good news for most of the pilots. One of Hamilton airport’s major cargo carriers is in a tailspin after losing its only customer. To save itself, Kelowna Flightcraft is moving to Toronto. Flightcraft spokesperson Grant Stevens said the decision to leave Hamilton was driven by...
