Re: WJ vs. AC......performance
Maybe it was a stretch to call it J class. But I certainly believe you are getting your money's worth when it cost a 1/3 less than AC. You might want to check the prices PositiveRate27, it was $1100 bucks for Plus one way from LGW vs the $3600 for business class on AC in August. 1st class was $11,30...

Re: WJ vs. AC......performance
Just bought 2 J (Plus) tickets LGW-YVR, $2200 all in. Better than $3600 per person for J on AC or the 11,000 per person for 1st class.

Slow day for Rockie when you have to pick on WestJet's culture. Not every airline needs to be run like taxpayer funded Air Canada. Canadian business could learn a thing or two from Alberta business.

Sad, realized the ELT that has been chirping on guard last week was the down plane. Apparently the couldn't get to it or something.
My condolences.

Re: Rex Murphy on Govt Policy toward Bombardier and Jet Fuel
I have showed it before I will show it again. Oil will be here for awhile yet but the future is renewables. The jobs are renewables. Canada can either get on or get left behind.

Re: LogTen Pro X
After I am done my logbook in a few months I plan to go digital. All the logbook Apps look great but one program that has been around for long long time has been Excel/Numbers. These two programs are flexible and I can have a cloud copy on my iPhone. Every month I get sent a xls. sheet and given tha...

You have to admit though it is an aspiring video. I think once other car makers start pumping out affordable electric vehicles the trend will be a landslide from there.

The world is changing. The sooner Alberta (Canada) gets off the oil train the better it will be for our country.

Re: Guard Police
I find the Guard police more prevalent around the Eastern US. Here's a good one I heard awhile back. On 121.5 "United 123 position **** FL330 deviating for build-up North of track **** and descending to FL327 all aircraft in vicinity advise. " RJ pilot comes on, "YOU'RE ON GUARD." Crusty old Captain...

Re: Suncor flight dept shutting down?
I think that was an oversimplification of my previous comment.
The bean counters will see the writing on the wall eventually and sub out their work. But if you see a new Suncor plane on the apron all bets are off.

You can't really beat WestJet's cost structure. It's really a drop in the bucket as far as costs go.
