Re: New hire bids

I think it went well, but it’s been 2 days and no calls yet. Getting anxious tbh After HR Interview I've heard 1-3 days on average if they select. 3-5 weeks if PFOed. Hopefully u should get a reply by tomorrow. Best of LUCK The HR said 5-10 business days to expect a reply. I really hope I don’t get...

Re: Calm Air Pay

That 52 is only if you come with over 1000 hrs. Base salary for entry level is still 41.03

Re: Calm Air Pay

Their starting pay for FO is 51.99 per hour at 80mmg. 50k. This was pre new contract. I was told from someone working there that nee contract increased by (they did not say how much) increased per diem among other things. That article is just blatantly wrong.

Re: Pilot Shirts

All the pilots at my current company wear them on the actual pocket. I thought it was a company thing because one told me “its more comfortable, cause it can’t poke you” yeah but its floppy. I was CF if briefly. We had standards on where to wear them and it’s definitely above the pocket.

Got pfo’d last year from jazz with 1100-1200 hrs. Got pfo’d from Porter this year with 1600 hrs atpl in hand and an internal recommend… none of these companies ever replay with a debrief even though the pfo letter says please feel free to contact us if you have any questions. All you can do is shake...

Re: AC Pilots leaving to the US?

Maybe this is a stupid question.. but I’m at a loss here. Explain to me how, if you’re a nurse or a doctor.. you can go south of the boarder with virtually no issues. Didn’t NAFTA open that door for professionals? Are we not professionals? What am I missing? Why are we splitting hairs on a NIW .. o...

Re: HireVue

Ok if you’ve just done the questionnaire, then probably a couple of weeks and you’ll hear about the interview. Phone call pre screen to set a time and walk you through next steps

Re: HireVue

Depends on which you mean? The initial hirevue questionaire is the question’s about licensing etc. The actual online interview is a full interview tmaatw etc.

Re: WestJet Pilots are very transpicious!

Funny rant, but what is important is whether or not he can fix the inefficiencies and increase profits, which he seems to be doing. Which inefficiencies? The ones caused by running 4 different airlines under one umbrella? That's 4 different office staff, 4 different benefits programs, 4 different c...

In March, Canada Jetlines announced it was in discussion with Qatar Airways for a potential codeshare agreement where Canada Jetlines would provide service between Toronto and Doha
It does say codeshare though even if poorly worded

Re: Documents required for Air Canada interview

It’s honestly ridiculous. Especially considering its not a requirement at any other airline (save jazz) in this country, and none I’ve dealt with so far south of the border. Logbook printed and certified by past employers not just current? Not even a requirement by Transport for your ATPL. Print off...

Re: Loading the bus

The real problem with the bins is the bags these day. Full hiking packs as carry on. Carry on bags are now oversized too. I got a lovely carry on bag from my employer. Hard sided. Usb ports. Laptop compartment the works. Told it met all carry on size requirements. It does not. Not even close. I put ...
