Re: Road Trip for airline position

Was told the 1st job was the hardest to get. Seems like airline position is the hardest to get, and supposive to be a hiring boom.

Any ideas why times have changed?

Re: Need a little help getting a "lift"

It's not self pity attitude, well not exactly. I guess it couldn't hurt to tell you a little bit more. I had a job I hated that provided just enough to live on but not enough to ever really get anywhere. I budgeted well enough to live comfortably in that situation. I wanted more from life, the poss...
You did not understand my original message well. I have a job, I work full time. I do have a budget, my costs are as low as they can be within what I have to work with. They aren't excuses, they are issues that I am currently dealing with that have had negative impact on my finances. Life i...

Re: Air Georgian-National Post Article

Yes in my opinion it's fair, you are entitled to your opinion to. With avg Canadian salary below that, many would love to make that amount of money.
Huh? A base pay of 4900 CAD/month (70 CAD/credit, 70 min credit) for an RJ captain is fair?? Unless you have access to an updated pay scale, t...

Re: Air Georgian-National Post Article

Their pay seems fair to me. I would gladly accept an offer of employment however they don't hire higher time candidates.

Maybe you can explain to all why your HR department hasn't contacted high time king air captains with corporate experience? Looks like you want a low timer who will be a slave to you! I agree. The CP must have put it together. The HR woman doesn't know a planes rudder from it's elevator. That company must miss out on some great applicants if they stopped the hiring process due to their HR department.

Re: Evertz Microsystems

My application was in a few days ago. No reply. Not sure what they are looking for. Looks to me like they are going with low timers to keep costs down. With my experience I would have thought there would have been interest.
