Instructing

Are phone interviews normally acceptable or does it need to be in person. (Problem being, I don't have much money left to be flying around the country/renting cars/hotels a...

Re: Studying and working in Canada

Sorry amigo, but that is very unlikely to occur. There are many many experienced pilots without jobs right now in Canada. Stay in Europe where you can make it, as long as you save enough dinero for a type rating... (psst, it's not a nice thing to do here) I don't mean to sound like an ass, but I don...

Re: ...help please

Without going through technical stuff, the best way to do this is to draw it on a piece of paper. Imagine a given radial (radials are always FROM the VOR) In the above case, draw a cross and label each end N E S & W. Draw a little airplane north of the station (N). That would be your "N" on your OBS...

The Importance of Partial Panel Training

"On January 20, 1999, at 1527 mountain standard time (mst)*, a Cessna P210N, N79NL, was destroyed when it broke up in flight and collided with terrain in the Sandia Mountain Wilderness Area, near Albuquerque, New Mexico. The instrument rated private pilot and two passengers were fatally injured. Vis...

Instructing Overseas

Are there any opportunities for canadian flight instructors overseas? I have searched the net, but nothing. I know of China, but the main school in Beijing closed down due to lack of cash.

Any ideas?

Jetsgo used those to train their pilots. "Give me $30,000 boy, sit here and look at the screen"
