Re: 2 planes collide in midair on Montreal's South Shore
I fully agree that we should let the investigation follow its process when it comes to conclusions, but it is not a secret in the industry that some Chinese students have a serious problem with communication. Sometimes it feels like schools are doing damage control. It is up to TC to do audits, and ...

Re: 2 planes collide in midair on Montreal's South Shore
It is only a matter of time before it happens again out here in the Fraser Valley with all the off shore flying schools operating in our airspace and clowns not understanding anything more than "cleared to land "or "cleared for take-off". And now with the instructors at these schools teaching in th...

One journalist is saying that the two pilots involved in the accident are students from China.

Re: Government to Consider Random Alcohol testing for pilots
No one has yet introduced a reason or argument to why we should give up rights other than; I did it and it wasn't so bad; Because I said so; Your slippery slop argument is alarmist invalid in my opinion; All laws are an infringement on personal rights and liberties... but they make it into society ...

Re: Government to Consider Random Alcohol testing for pilots
I spoke recently with one of my doctor friend about this surgeon who was a drug addict. Got treated, now is practicing and a motivation speaker. Where´s the workshop? Pilots getting screwed again! I think we can take care of our own problems. This whole debate is a tempest in a bottle of water. I ha...

I have 3 friends who attended the events in the Caraïbes with C-reg aircrafts and they really loved the experience. I can reach out to them if needed, but I think the website link contact informations should do.

You could get a French speaking girlfriend I know two guys for who it worked very well.
The best way to learn is definitely by having conversations with others, that's how I learned my English, the learning curve became exponential when I was staying in Ontario.

Re: Directive from Minister issued yesterday.
Sadly, there were not enough accidents (airplanes bent, people hurt) and there is no solid legal framework to bring steam to the issue. What we need is pilots to get together and start shaking things at the government. There are enough angry pilots to wake up the medias. Waiting for the bst to link...

Re: Sunwing captain passed out drunk in cockpit
Rockie, not so long ago Air France pilots were drinking a glass of wine with their meals while crossing over the ocean, and other stories that belong to the past... Today you can get legal problems, lose your job and be automatically ashamed and found guilty by the medias if you blow 0.01 at the air...

Re: 1500 hr min
How come the F.O.'s in Europe generally train from PPL to F.O. qualified and go straight to the right hand seat and flying the line? Oh, I know, it is because the airlines don't do many landings and take off's over there and they don't have many airline category airplanes flying in Europe. Yeh, tha...

Re: NewLeaf cancels service and blames the other airlines for undercutting
Legitmate criticism of the horrible productivity, protectionism from competition, and lack of any free enterprise thought or spirit that this country has now, is simply called "trolling". I don't know if you have seen a recent roster at Jazz, they look very productive to me. We have the worst rest ...
