Re: I think every pilot should do at least 1 skydive!
I have to admit skydiving is something I would like to have tried at least once. You can always see the results of the adrenaline rush and exhilaration on the faces of those who have a successful landing. I suspect much of that exhilaration is an expression of relief of a good chute deployment. With...

Southwest Tire Fire On Landing- Pass Evac- One Dumb Ass
Great CNN footage of a Southwest flight landing in Houston Hobby with a failed main tire(s)and fire. Passengers use slide to evacuate. One passengers papers are more important than the lives of the passengers behind him, especially had it been more serious. http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/us/2009/0...

Re: So what do you do for fun, Planes and???????????????????????
Great thread! My home has become my away from aviation hobby. It is very therapeutic to get out into the yard and work with one's hands. These landscaping projects have been ongoing for nearly 15 years now. My intentions are to use only natural products. All the stone, dirt, and plants are located o...

Re: Hey, Ladies... Iiiii'm a piiiilot!
Hey - if you walk into a room filled with a 100 people.......how will you know which one is a Pilot? You won't have to know...because he will tell you himself. Great posts folks. Re: excessive flying style?
Hey - I'm all for enjoying life and having some fun, however what I witnessed in this video, I feel is completely irresponsible, dangerous and typical of a pilot whom we will eventually read about in accident investigations. This was likely a rental or charter aircraft. Although the roll looked zero...

Re: Olympic security screw up
By this information, can I safely assume there will be metal detectors and pre-board screening check points set up on the Trans Canada Highway ensuring Vancouver will be safe from un-screened people entering the "Vancouver Green Zone" in their cars? I suspect this is just a creative way to restrict ...

Not many of these around- Varga Kachina 2150A- Some of the best flying I did was in this little bird. 150 HP Lycoming- 2 place- stick- certified canopy open in flight. Easy forgiving bird.
