To be honest, I don't know of any Dash, ATR or corporate guys that wouldn't be taking a pay cut to go left seat at GGN. Around $73k to captain a commuter jet by my reckoning. A first year WestJet/Air Canada FO will damn near make that. Think I'll pass.

I doubt any are busy like 3 years ago, but I'm quite sure they are all struggling to find qualified pilots due to airline hiring.

I'm hoping to be an OTS hire and have finally received the video interview email. I recall reading something about it on Avcanada a while back, but I've spent the last hour and a half looking and found nothing. Would someone out there be able to enlighten me as to what I can expect before I dust off...

FYI, there are still people who applied in April 2016 that have yet to be interviewed. They're application is still valid, at least that's what the last email in April 2017 said. I have no idea how many people we are talking about though! There's me.....

Are there any travel benefits for my kids at WJ? What through the intraline (or whatever its called)?

My experience is that AC is usually good at keeping people informed. So I still kind of expect to hear at least a 'please wait longer', or reapply. We shall see!

I received the Phone interview email. I have a degree and Jet PIC. 4500 TT.
