My Dad used to work as a paramedic, When a partner got too cocky, he'd put a saleen pouch (a IV bag) behind or under the seat of the Ambulance. Then run the line up to the shoulder, or down to the crotch. When the guy gets in and sits down, he starts the flow and slowly soaks himself. Apperently if ...

Perhaps Alberta should calm down and think about the results of separation. Now, I really am not an expert here, but it seems to me that if Alberta were a country unto itself, that would mean that brodering the US would be a shiny new country. A country with no military, not trade agreements, no int...

Oil is not priced solely on cartel whim or supply/demand. As a couple people here have tried to point out, it's a combination of various factors. Supply/demand, Cartel influence, market stability, taxes, labour costs, refining capacity, exploration/development costs, shipping costs, all play a role....

Hyde from 'That 70's Show' said it best, "... they got this car, and it runs on WATER, man!"

The real question I think you have to ask yourself is do you want a diploma/degree to go with your licence. Once you have that figured out, you can decide on schools/flying clubs etc. Since no one else mentioned anythign on the west coast; http://coastalpacific.com/cpa/index.html (the only real diff...

Nanaimo flight center is pretty descent. I actually flew there last X-mas, took up the family all that jazz. Nice guy working there at the time. I cant remember the exact price but i think it was around $110/hr on the 172. I just went looking for their web-site, it seems to be down. But the yellow p...

then raping Canada of the engineers and scientists that developed it! Was that even close to being a metaphor? I agree with CID, LH is frustrated. I get pretty frustrated in the face of stupidity myself. Your attempt to discredit others is fruitless when you are unable to string together a sentance...

I'm sorry CID, I can't resist; If we're going back in time here then modern day Iraq didn't exist, so we'll look ath the region as a whole. Historically the desert tribes of the middle east have been home to some of the fiercest worriors in the world. Ever heard of Damascus steel? Sword craft was ce...

I've had a lot of fun reading this thread. Some people have very good points, others seem to have thoughts equal to a those of a cucumber. I was going to avoid weighing-in on this again, but it turns out I'm about 175lbs and I can't resist anymore. So here we go! I particularly liked the "camels, st...

I'm gonna get killed for this but here it goes. Has any one ever stopped to think why so many people are pissed at "the West"? The cultures may be different, but muslims are people too. Think of what pisses you off, it probably pisses other folks off too. I think the best example of the disconnect w...
