PML 2.0

Anyone heard of the success rate of PML 2.0? I've heard of a bunch of people including myself getting pfo'd. Just curious what the numbers are like floating around. Cheers! Rup

Re: New hire bids

Just received an email for the 2017 hiring outlook for jazz. They are planning on hiring 20 new hires every two weeks for the remainder of 2017 I was quite surprised at that. I know we are short staffed but I didn't think we would be hiring 280 more pilots this year. Can't see AC taking that many b...

No Sim evals. Just apply and if you have a CPL and Iatra I'm sure you'll get hired.

Re: 1000 Hour Pilot Looking for Advice

I'm pretty sure any operator with a King Air, 1900's, Navajo's and Metros are getting picked apart by the regional's so you should have no issues getting a job at any one of those places. Show up, dress well and you'll get a job.

Re: The Ol' PFO

The entire process just seems so strange. I was part of the second PMA at Jazz with about 3500 hours (half PIC from floats up north) and Jet time from the RJ. I just ran into someone at Jazz who was on the PML 1.0 and doesn't have an ATPL (right from college) but AC has told them once they have thei...

Re: Wasaya announces 5% pay cuts for all staff including pilots

Apparently tough times are back and 5% pay cuts across the board. Is it just a coincidence that a tired old Jazz Dash 8 showed up last fall and now they have $$$ problems again? They got rid of their last -100 for a reason I thought. The reason that was given at the time was because they had no way...

The Ol' PFO

Hey all,

Just got PFO'd from AC. Anyone ever been PFO'd, re-applied and got a job?

Thanks,

RP

Re: Wasaya announces 5% pay cuts for all staff including pilots

It is true. I used to work there. I don't currently work there but I have friends that still do. I saw the memo. Stated the company had discussed it with the union and they seemed to be on board. There is Alpa there but it really doesn't feel like it when you work there.
