Re: Help repairing engine

Pretty disappointing responses from some of the posters on this forum. "Kilpicki" feels qualified enough to suggest that a person must be "one dumb s-it" for trusting a fellow human with torque settings advice. Nice. "Aircraftnut1966" feels that since he/she paid a "price" to obtain this knowledge, ...

Re: Which flyer do you save for last?

Ahhhh, the things we debate on the internet. Presently, it's not a slow morning, but a slow evening. So, I'll raise your weekly flyers with a 30 day raincheck! Eh,you ask? Well, after you've sorted through each and every flyer, scrutinizing the best deals, your off to the stores, ready for some seri...

You state he rejected driving an unsafe truck. Surely in Alberta there must be a safe truck looking for a driver.

Nicely done! Paint work looks great!! The musical touch almost had me running for a bottle of wine :D (red, of course!). After a job like that, I suppose, would it be a bottle of champagne? :smt023

Re: Fabric Work

Thanks cgzro for the post and your website info. As mentioned on another post in this forum, I'm looking for info regarding tube and fabric repair/restoration. I've recently acquired a tube/fabric design with wood wing. All the fabric needs to be replaced, so I to am looking around for fabric info!

Re: Journey Log and Amateur-Built Category

Thanks to everyone for your input. I've dropped off the scene for the past several days due to several obligations. There seems to have been some initial confusion with the "previous" owner as to the Journey Log. Turns out there is a JL after all. Tech logs are non-existent, but entries are made in ...

Re: Journey Log and Amateur-Built Category

It would seem now there is a possibility of some kind of documentation. Initially, it appeared the only recorded information available was a pilot's log. Now, it seems there might be other info recorded such as work performed on the aircraft. The info is not recorded in a Journey log or Tech log for...

Re: Journey Log and Amateur-Built Category

Thanks for the input. I checked around today for input and got a little more info. Among others, Transport Canada did shed a little more light on a possible solution. While TC did mentioned (as yourself did) about the tech. logs, I pointed out that the amateur category does permit entries regarding ...

Journey Log and Amateur-Built Category

Scenario: Amateur-Built aeroplane with current Canadian Special C of A. Current owner was also the builder some 20+ year's ago. The aeroplane has only been owned by this one person. Problem: Journey Log has been lost. No copies available. Only confirmation of times on airframe would be pilot's (owne...
