But bruh. Affecting change on personal attacks over strategy is tiresome.
But you do you. Bruh.

Re: Why does AC not have a base in YYC?
Opening a YC Base will never happen, if AC had their way there would only be a YZ Base. UL and WG are pure politics and VR just coasts (so to speak) along. Even if they did it would be open to the entire group, no guarantee the existing residences would be senior enough to hold it. Better question ...

Re: Tell Parliament Now
https://alpa.quorum.us/campaign/43250/ This takes two minutes to complete. This isn't just helping a single pilot group. This is helping all of us. Fill it out. Does ALPA represent the trainers and checkers? Solidarity would mean refusing to train non-ALPA pilots, correct? Why would anyone sign thi...

Re: A 10 year WJ FO just went to AC
I think they're sitting around being apathetic because they are banking on (or hoping) that they will soon have ~400 SW pilots. Ironically, SWG management seems apathetic probably for the same reasons :bear: Truly a match made in heaven... There wont be two of each management positions…most will re...

Re: A 10 year WJ FO just went to AC
The company feels like it’s imploding right now, and there’s crickets from management. According to ALPA we lost 31 pilots last month. Yet they think they’re going to be able to hire 400 next year? I’d love to know where they plan on finding them. For sure they’ll have to drop below their 1500 hour...

Sounds like it was her own resources, not the union. Anyone have the deets? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Re: AC-JAZZ ALPA merger?
Hi, Just a random question, if AC pilots decided to join ALPA and then for some reason Air Canada decided to merge with Jazz. Would the two group merge together using date of hire for seniority? Or would that be voted on? Not debating if Air Canada would merge with Jazz, just wondering what would h...

Re: Missing: YUL LEC
I’m sure yyz lec will have your interests They don't believe in selling us permanent concessions? Only P4C does. I have less money in my bank account thanks to them. Better than that, they will lead you to an early career ending. Think of those who have been fired. Short term Donkey Kong logic.

They are from all I can tell supporters in general but have never run under the banner. So it's not quite true to say P4C has a majority. They will Jan 1 though wth the recent acclimations.

Re: ACPA LOA?
The YUL Chair seems to disagree. This is the kind of people we have on our MEC who seem to think that we also negotiate for the rest of the company employees. This kind of thinking is why we are where we are after the last 20 years. We're all 1-2 years now behind on our future Captain pay, which wi...

Re: ACPA LOA?
ACPA does not bargain for 20000 employees who were laid off. They do bargain for the 600 pilots that were laid off. The YUL Chair seems to disagree. Re: ALPA is not the answer, current ACPA isn't either
Just because your union is ALPA doesn’t make it any better. The MEC and executive council are the most important thing. Jazz for example is ALPA, yet has a contract and benefits heavily favouring senior pilots. You’re absolutely correct, the contract is sh!t at Jazz. You’ve got an ALPA union of a r...

Re: P4C members terminated
What these guys did is serious and they will be lucky if all they get is fired. I don't see this a a shot at P4C in the least. The one clown was on track to get fired before he got laid off. He had made a name for himself during his PIT Course and the unabashed arrogance grew from there. No ones go...

Re: Blending Jazz and AC. It's time.
Any truth to a alpa and acpa in partnership to help with lack of crews? Maybe a flow program 🤔 no more interviews? Vomit in my mouth before that happens. Jazz is so desperate, they are hiring anyone with a pulse. Rampant fraud in their recent hires and a few in the flow through from what I hear. TC...
