Canada did not take over Newfoundland by force. Maybe there are some guys like you flying their old flag there who do not recognize the jurisdiction of the Canadian federal government.
One day the oil like bison and beaver pelts might run out.

Re: Summit Air Buffalo - Red Cross?
Except the old grey 'merica just ain't what she used to be. If the oil prices stay low and it gets to the point that Canader can't afford to govern herself ala Newfoundland, if we get absorbed it will just be military bases and wilderness up here. Vancouver could remain HK east and the GTA will carr...

Re: Summit Air Buffalo - Red Cross?
The days of Canadians being allowed to build planes and trains to help the british company owners improve the area for those living here are over. I think Canada is going to slowly go back to being pre "European colonial" territory. As long as there is something resembling this current apology for w...

Re: Moving
Well that is fairly aweful. I guess people who bought houses in a neighborhood called "Sky Ranch" just to be surprised there was an airstrip near by finally got rid of the airplanes. Someone needs to base some Havards there. Soon I will probably be able to run my dog at another former Alberta airfie...

Re: Have you ever been divorced?
The poll was mostly a feeble attempt to make one about divorce that could not be side stepped by remarrying, in case that was polluting the results of the one iflyforpie made. I have to credit my wife with putting up with me while I was miserable and not flying. I am glad we stayed together but unde...

Is this going to result in a "runway lights repair fee" on airline tickets soon? Once Jazz implements it everyone else will jump the band wagon.

So far I have never been too obese to fly dual full tanks in a 172.
I'll buy lunch. It's one thing I'm still good at.

Re: How many hours to get PPL
How much of the extra 20 hours to PPL is because I the student was afraid of simple non-flight test things like, what do I say on the radio, do these pants make my ass look fat and how does the GPS work?

I'm reminded of this gem http://youtu.be/AeTM-paAXCo Make sure you have it on mute with Yakety Sax playing on a background tab. I thought I was the only one who did this whenever I saw that video. For those who are thinking of trying, it synchs up wonderfully. Oh my goodness, I just verbalize...

Considering it are ya pop'n'fresh? Not recently. In the past I have said I would take my blanket, motorcycle and guitars. Just go for milk and bread... She could file if she can find me I suppose. No point getting a divorce, I'm the wrong type of crazy to want to re-marry. Plus sort of like you and...
