Just wondering if anyone can recommend a good, decent paying company
in the carribean that hires Canadian pilots. Preferrably flying king air or bigger.
Thanks.

Also since I see it's a split duty day, your supposed to extend your rest by the same amount...blah blah blah, you know the rules, follow them. It's your ass sighning that l...

CAT, im not talking about a tailwheel AC, im talking a tricycle gear, and that technique (of looking down the runway) has worked for me from the 172 up to the king air, from 2200' strips to landing in Pearson. I find pilots that don't transfer there gaze down the runway tend to land flat, they "fly"...

If AC goes under, what happens to the overseas routes?
Anybody in here KNOW or at least have an educated best guess as to what would happen to Air Canada’s overseas routes if they fold? I know that no one in the country has the capability to take over even a fraction of them so the obvious answer is to let foreign carriers in to fill the void. If that h...

LOL, not every case, sometimes I cant see very far ahead, but generally yes. When judgeing the flare, I pick the point on the runway that im going to land on and keep it in my windscreen at the same point - like judgeing a glide, not moveing up or down, just getting bigger. Once that point is about ...

What seems to work for me is once you flare, transfer your gaze to the end of the runway, and line the top of the dash with it. As you round out, pull back alittle to keep the dash lined with the end of the runway. That will give you a nice nose up attitude, as well as arrest that sink rate you ment...

Stick in your resume, There is always movement here. Company requires 2500 TT and ATPL to get an upgrade, if you have the time, A's and a good word from a CPT or 2 you'll get that left seat. Time wise depends on movement (and a few other factors). Good pay 30-35K for FO, 55-60K for CPT to start. dep...

Hours wise it makes no difference. as for the course, why get someone to spoon feed you what you could read yourself. If you were asking about dropping from a diploma course, I'd say stay in. But these 2 courses are almost ther same. Go the cheap route and finish early, get that first dock/ramp job ...
