Re: HireVue Video interview
They use Hirevue differently from Encore. Encore: You have questions and you have 3 minutes to answer. You do not talk directly to someone. Jazz: Hirevue is used to record the interview so Flight Ops can take a look afterwards. The audio part is done on a phone line in order to have a quality sound ...

Re: Entire application process timeline?
They were suuuuper busy lately with all the Georgian pilots. That’s why the process is taking longer lately for applicants.

Re: IATRA vs ATPL Exams Written
ATPL is strongly preferred as per the last hires/trends. I know Encore is hiring with IATRA but tells the new hires they have X amount of time to write their A’s. Jazz isn’t there but they are also snobbing a lot of people until they check the box with ATPL. Consider your application a filter. Norma...

Quiz your co-skipper about which side to reverse if they want to turn right. You will be surprised with the delay they will take to answer you.

Re: ALPA Jumpseat Question
No one can use the ACTUAL jump seat on an airline unless they are authorized to do so. For example at Air Canada the only Pilots permitted to use the flight deck jump seat are AC, Rouge, Jazz and SKR Pilots. That's it. If you work at Perimeter and have a RAIC and JS agreement, it's not the actual J...

They ask for Cover and Resume. If you read carefully, the other thing you need to attach is the copy of your ATPL or IATRA exams.

Re: Seniority level at each base
How does it work if you get your upgrade quick for an ATPL new applicant? Let’s say you have an upgrade within the first 6 months, are you staying BOTL until a newer seniority number gets upgraded? I.E. Seneca new grad that needs 2 years to have an upgrade, hired march 2018 vs a 3000 hr ATPL hired m...
