I don't see how the use of French compromises safety, we speak both languages well and use the standard phraseology for both languages so I don't see the problem. There are way more pilots than controllers that don't speak english. What would we do then?

Anyways as a double check pilots should, when its a privately owned aircraft, say "Navajo Foxtrot foxtro alpha tango with you, 150" etc... Just another little way to double check the ident.

We are told to omit the charlie, but we must pronounce the full ident on non-canadian aircraft but it is ok to just say, FAAT instead of C-FAAT.

They were approached about it at least 5 years ago. Not sure of the result of those meetings. . .

All the controllers at ACC's don't get free tickets unless it is to visit another Nav Can facility, or at least that's what I understood.

It has, V3 is rather ok, a few errors here and there, especially answers you answer right but it tells you you are wrong, so be careful with that. Other than that it was a good tool for me to learn a lot of stuff I didn't know. But it's not that buggy.
