The clause is an exemption available to all companies operating in 704 with small aircraft, but only granted to those who apply for it. Many operators never need it due to better runways in their region. It essentially allows a 704 commuter to act like 703 where ASDA requirements cannot be complied ...

Just an observation: Notice how the female weight increase was twice the male increase and this is for the population as a whole not just the north. Was the old one actually accurate when it came out? If so there is a major demographic change going on. I understand the FAA is doing something similar...

On a different note, If avcanada is about freedom of speech, as desksgo said, why did the Norcanair gear collapse thread get removed so soon a week or two ago? How do I decide what to write in the logbook? The same way I log night time, I take a wild guess. There are nights in ...

Regarding the contact with an undercast: ATC on the east coast had a good way of expediting flow while minimizing radio chatter. The controller would obviously see that a contact or visual was possible but knew we were above the bases, and had other business to attend to, so he would issue a clearan...

I've been following this topic for a few days and it seems like the posters gets polarized when they really agree on more things than they think. The idea of education seems to always involve degrees and how good or useless they are. The importance of further education cannot be stressed enough, but...
