Wow it seems people are no longer able
to think for themselves. It's always someone else's fault! This is just rediculious.

Plus one don't worry about pestering a controller. It's what they are there for. Though as an airline pilot please be sure to make sure your radio calls are up to snuff. Who you are where you are and what you want.

Congratulations on the first job.
Without a doubt I would get a Telex Stratus 50D again in a heartbeat. I flew metros and it was by far the quietest thing going. Second worth every penny.

Re: CBC: Why are airlines getting millions from a fee to upgrade airports?
Can we start a petition to have every airline in Canada ban him for life? Lord knows he would never be happy even if his flight leaves on time arrives on time to the minute. He would find something. Save them all a huge hassle.PostmasterGeneral wrote:Gabor strikes again....

Re: CBC: Why are airlines getting millions from a fee to upgrade airports?
4 to 7 percent is quite significant... I would guess that it does not cost nearly that much to account and manage the process of airport fees. Reminds me of renting a car in the states where I accidentally go on to a toll highway, later I get charged 15 usd 3 times to process the 50 cent charge for...

More from our favorite "passenger rights advocate". Do they think could collecting and accounting for all those fees is free? Seems reasonable to pay for that service.

Both CAE and Simuflight offer B200 sims with your choice Proline 2 or Proline 21, and are TC approved. They do have some examiner available for a PPC or as most people do just supply your own.

Re: BA A380 diverted to vancouver smoke in the cabin.
Although YYC is setup for the A380 as far as I am aware the only gate that could take the beast is the new terminal which does not open to Halloween. Even if there was a suitable gate, I am sure there is no marking or lines to get it positioned properly to get a gate to dock with the aircraft. So yo...

Re: U.S. building robot co-pilots that don't panic or get tired
So let me get this strait they programmed a robot that gets input from sensors that read flat panel displays that get their input from sensors. They have invented the first robot to control the AFCS! Or perhaps the robot controls the aircraft through the actual pedals and yoke in which case they hav...
