Re: TWIN OTTER CAPTAIN ASIA
Just small things like pay rate and getting paid, accommodations and paying for it,3rd world backward thinking, like 100 % reactive management, wait til the last second to do something. Corruption like you've never seen, pollution, ignorance, etc. Not my first rodeo. The company is in dire straights...

Re: LogTen Pro X
Unfortunately complexintensions, I don't give a s$%t about regulators or employers. I don't need to keep a log book for the regulators and I have enough time that employers don't need to see my previous 4 paper log books. When you get enough time like some of us, keeping a log book to impress someon...

Re: LogTen Pro X
I'm just an old guy who had no high school training on computers (weren't invented then). I made my own spread sheet on excel that looks exactly like the paper one sold in storesI Change a few formulas as I fly different airplane. It isn't perfect but it works for me. And it has since 2000. I find i...

Re: Floatplane in high winds/heavy waves
3 ft waves in a 180? And you have ocean flying as well. I don't know if I would even fly a twin otter in those conditions. But hey, I'm still alive and never hurt a plane. I'm pretty sure a 3 ft wave is going to eat your prop up pretty good, even in a beaver. The worst I ever did was in a Beaver ONC...

Hmmm. I think there's more to this post than you're saying. Sounds like maybe some desperate operator is dangling a carrot in your face. Or you want to buy or start an operation.

Re: External loads on private float plane.
Ya the regulations are so stupid. They should let us just do whatever we want and fly float planes how we want. Fly them overloaded like it's been done forever, fly them with unapproved external loads because it's been like that forever, oh but they should definitely change the whole approval for t...

Air Bravo Hirng/Location Update?
Just curious. I've heard rumours that Air Bravo has all but pulled out of Elliot Lake, and is in the middle of some personal stinky stuff. Any updates on their status? Moving to Barrie, Toronto, etc.?
