Gentlemen, at the end of the day some peckerwood's got to get the thing in the air and the same peckerwood has to get the thing back down again. Do you really think that IFR takeoffs are different from VFR ones? Except that maybe you cannot see as well on the worst days. How about landings? Sure the...

Or instead of forking out big money 8 months in advance for a fully refundable ticket just wait until the seat sale comes on anyway and book it. If you are going to pay full fare anyway, why do it 8 months in advance?

It is easily a fake. There are no propeller marks on the cab of the truck, the oil inspection door is open, and the size of the airplane is disproportionate to the size of the truck. Not to mention the amount of damage to the truck vs the plane.

And yeah the lump is a DF loop.

Well ., at first i thought quondam or superannuated, or in your more lucid moments venerable. But as i know what you look like i can say with veracity that there is only one phrase which accurately describes you:

Well Marinated.

Madre de Dios FA28, Tom did my multi ride. You're not old, you're antediluvian. Like i said, it is not an interpretation, it is a computer bug . But i cannot say i am surprised that everyone is just bending over and taking it. Losing your ATPL to a computer bug is probably mild compared to what some...

This is crazy. Arm yourself with a copy of the CARs and fight this. There is nothing in the CARs that states that you have to renew your ATPL, so how can it lapse, other than the recency requirements which are the same for all licences. The skill requirement for the ATPL is required to issue it. Onc...

Better yet buy a 7809 voltage regulator chip at Radio Shack and get smooth 9V power. Make sure you screw it to some kind of heat sink though. And make sure the voltage is right. Some ANR headsets use 3V.

I have never met a cp/ops manager who cared whether the resume said integrated or not. And while there are some outfits who insist on aviation diplomas there are at least as many who will not touch them. Really all people care about is what kind of person you are, and often how much multi time you h...

Plunged 4000 metres, love it. Did the wings fall off too? I guess i had better start checking the volcanic ash charts in case center forgets to mention it.

When the lynchings begin i vote we start with reporters instead of lawyers. At least lawyers can read and write.

Nice to see that people who write for a living cannot do so any better than we can. If they cannot even get the grammar right what are the chances they can get the facts right?

The Lightspeed ANR headsets have very thick foam pads and are very comforable even with glasses. Newer gel seals for D/C style are about $40 and work pretty well with glasses too.

I wonder if we could the Nigels involved in this forum. We could use some dry wit here to offset birddog's pleonasm.

And while we are on the topic, is there anyone else out there who liked The Tailor of Panama?

Document everything, get witnesses, get a lawyer. Isn't there anyone else in the company standing up for her?

Regardless she can either take it or put up a fight. I do not think a fight would damage her career.
