Re: Voyaguer Salary

$20.07 x 2000hrs/yr = $40,140. 'Bout the same as a Jazz F/O, or am I missing something?

The first study cited in that paper is from the discredited one that was withdrawn by Elgazzar at Benha University in Egypt.

Another pilot just died in the states a few days after the forced vax. News flash: If you're an adult in the Western World, you've probably had vaccines against Rubella, Polio, (Shingles - if you're old enough) perhaps chicken pox ... *all* of which were developed through 'aborted fetal cells'...

As always, if you don't like it, then don't apply; if no-one does so, then they'll be forced to raise their compensation... OTOH, some little snotnose will probably do so, whine about the pay for a year (or whatever the bond time is) and then fox oscar to Jazz and then Air Canada, where they can tel...

Re: Wil Jazz hire with instructing time only?

- Integrated programs from 2020, 2021 & 2022. Jazz loves those candidates and in 2022, there will be 3 full classes of both Instructors and Students looking for a job. The last point is IMO the biggest hurdle to a future employment for off the streets candidates. 12 schools x 3 classes + Instructor...

Re: From last year's heroes, to this year's enemy

My guess would be that those people who can afford to retire, or have another gig that doesn't require vaccination will pull the pin - if they feel that strongly asbout it. The rest of them will puff loudly about their rights up until their next mortgage/rent/car payment comes due, and then roll up ...

Re: AME shortage?

I think that there was a fair bit of disgruntlement in the AME ranks in the past: long hours, lots of responsibility, poor pay, etc.. If AMEs were let go in the same way and numbers that pilots were, I could see a lot of them saying 'fukkit!' and going and finding other 'wrench-twisting' jobs outsid...

One wonders if some of the critical nuts and bolts were discreetly loosened prior to the hand over? I'm not sure I'd be in a hurry to fly in any of those machines until they'd been given a thorough once-over by a seasoned AME..

Re: Regionals hiring this Spring rumours

Regarding recalls, it will be interesting to see what percentage of those laid off from the various airlines in 2020 will actually return...perhaps the Jazz bid coming out later this month will give an idea if they will have to hire by this fall or next spring.... I'm thinking that ~ 10% of us will...
