I am gladly looking forward to gettin at 'er again next week. However Monday will not work for me, as I start a pairing that goes until Thursday. I do believe that the doctrine of Comunism in all its forms has inflicted the most pain, and death....Just checking your " facts". The purges in Stalinist...

Atheism is a doctrine that you do seem fine with. A little ironic I think. You seem OK with the doctrine of non religion, but put down others. How is your wordly doctrine better than someone who has one of Faith? " All are created equal, but some are more equal than others" ...seems to fit your dogm...

STL. You can have your beliefs. I will defend to the death your right to hold them, and even to promote them. However, I do take offence to you advocating the imprisonment and ultimately execution of people holding certain beliefs. Where is your self proclaimed inclusionary perspective. You seem to ...

No one on here believes a pilot would take off in a plane thinking there was a reasonable and probable ground for an accident to occur. You are right in that respect. However crimial negligence and willful homicide are two differing things. After this crash, I remembered a conversation I had with a ...

STL . You are a Bigot. How can you make a joke about thousands of people being put to death simply for their beliefs. Substitute the word Christian with any other group and the depth of your bigotry is evident. " too many Christians and not enough Lions ....Too many Jews and not enough ovens.....Too...

The pilot made bad decisions that impacted people greatly. He has to hold the final responsibility. That said, this should EMPOWER all other PIC's to say NO. We now have the realization that there is a hefty weight and responsibility with being the PIC. It is not just another stripe, and the niceity...

180 degree turns back to the runway??? Sounds great on paper..., but put yourself in Kelowna for example. Which direction are you going to turn. West towards the rapidly rising terrain, or east towards the rapidly rising terrain ? What about a departure from YXD rwy16. Do you turn left into the higr...

Deanna, What is your plan? What is your solution? I you quickly have assumed that the posters and thus patrons of AVCANADA support racist leanings. How ironic that you, who claim no such vice, have treated and painted us in this light. You claim to be non-discriminating. What a farce. NO one can be ...

Fight fire with fire.Make the US carriers submit a list to the RCMP of all of their pax, whenever they head though Canadian airspace. There are way more US flights heading over the pole to Europe and Asia, then Canadian ones heading south. Can you imagime the delay at JFK,and Ohare if United has a pa...

CID , most of our troops have been wounded and killed by roadside bombs. The key here is the word roadside. Canada has no helicopter lift capability. Had the Liberals not cancelled the EH 101 contract we would have 10 - 12 deployed in Afganistan. The Brits just bought 6 off the Danes because they ha...

The new approach ban has been an outstanding success! Transport Canada hasn't been lost on a B/C yet! They ( Transport) now feel so much safer out there, not having to attempt an approach down to near minimums. The 2 hours a month they fly, doing holds and vectors , can now really be put to use! I a...

Thanks for the info rigpiggy. Nearly 1/3 of the flying out of YEG is over 600nm!!! That is a great stat. So if we transfered allof the shorter ranged flights to YXD then YEG would have 15 flights???? Not enough to keep an airport open I would say. My argument stands that the YEG would have died if w...

Arthur Q... Both airports did operate together...with a steady decline at YEG and lots of dashes at YXD. My MIRABEL comment is still valid. It and Dorval operated at the same time....A steady decline at one versus...... Most medevac patients are not airlifted until they have reached a certain stabil...

Have any of you actually been to YEG nowadays? The apron is very full after 2200. Something like 25- 30 AC overnighting. AC does a non- stop to London, with Transat right behind them. There are seasonal AC and Westjet flights to the Carribean / Cuba all winter. If the short sighted, " lets keep the ...

The issue is not about human rights at all. If a tribunal, or judge decides that mandatory retirement at 60 is a violation of a party's human rights, then by logic mandatory retirement at 65 is also a violation of said rights, as is 70, 75, and 80. Human rights are not voided by age, thus this becom...

CYXD will most likely be closed in 2 years anyways. Most if not ALL of the leases aparently come due within the next 2 years.
