Rumour has it this meme is worth people getting fired over? I sure hope WestJet brothers and sisters stand up aggressively for these pilots. What a joke.

Re: Protest to save Canadian aviation
What does MM even do? Nice to see TP represent ALPA and show some leadership. A few AC pilots is a start, but next time I'd like to see our CEO and MEC chair represent us.

Re: Appologies
Agreed. I am sorry for MMs action. He is speaking on half of himself. Jazz pilots or Sky pilots should not put their careers in jeopardy because ACPA is too afraid to grow a set of balls and demand our pilots do anything about it. This letter seems overly political. Perhaps MM is afraid of the boys ...

Re: COVID MOA 2
How does it go? Maybe I have this wrong Tony, no military experience here... You can't go full afterburner all the time over enemy positions or you're going to get shot out of the sky. That's what happened here and it accomplished less than nothing, it sets us back. It's interesting you mention tha...

Re: How to get rid of ACPA?
Honestly who cares. Now is not the time to be spending "significant time, effort, expense, and deliberation in an effort to resolve these issues". An elected member could be jumping up and down and peeing on the roofs of cars in the Viscount parking lot and we'll deal with it later. And we should d...

Re: Did ACPA MEC vote themselves a raise while others are laid-off?
With taking concessions I think in reality they should have kept flat payers at 75-77.5 hours. Failing that perhaps a 53 hour (or what ever an accountant deemed necessary) for the rest of us to keep flat payers up. More then anything I wonder what this MOA did for us. Let's face it, the 10 year deal...

Re: Why are upgrades still happening at AC?
Once you're part way through the upgrade process our CA allows for the candidate to continue with their upgrade. It's a little awkward right now for max guys or Rouge guys who as per the CA can continue their upgrade, but they don't have an airplane to do it on.

Re: A220 cruising altitude
Seems to be happening to new engines only. These engines are built to such tight tolerances that anything slightly out can cause an issue. Once the engines seem to get some time on them and “loosen up” they seem ok. It’s a combination software and hardware fix. Word is maybe the fix will be approve...

Re: Advice needed for choices of schools!!!
Id suggest Harv's Air personally. With the weather being VFR more frequently than the other spots, chances are you'll likely keep more current and fly more often, which helps by being current. (if you don't fly for a week, the first portion of the first flight back will be getting back in the swing ...

Re: Commercial Airline Pilots: What are some things you love and hate about your job?
What are some annoying things about your job? Other departments. Flight operations have great colleagues. Unfortunately other departments pay peanuts now, so as the saying goes... Sometimes (most of the time) we have to be proactive and hold other departments feet to the fire. Delays and not gettin...

Is there any horn protection for the gear in the 320? Master Warning (unfortunately same ding, ding, ding, ding, ding as the flap Overspeed - though it should have been on the ECAM if they read it). GPWS - Too low gear, pretty loud and hard to miss. Pilots SA - if they were trying to dive bomb onto...

Re: Pakistan Airlines crash near Karachi airport May 22 2020
Wow, I can't recall a Large Passenger Airliner ever forgetting to put down gear in recent memory. Does anybody know, has this ever happened before historically on similar sized aircraft? I'm thinking if they committed to the belly landing once they realized, more people might have survived. Such a ...

And like $3300 in ESP. Tell the whole story man. That’s meant for retirement. Imagine not having to crack into your retirement on a regular basis just to survive.... Re: Socialized Bidding (Rouge)
As of right now Rouge does already have reserve. It's voluntary and only when the corp needs it, but the reserve rules are significantly better than ML. To just get ML reserve would be a huge concession. We are not in a recession and there is no reason why we should negotiate a concession. Managemen...

No, the majority of guys I fly with are great. Many of them don't post on forums, and even if they do we talk about skiing, traveling, diving, kids and life more then how the company is screwing us over. If they want to talk about the company screwing us over, the company has a nice press reader app...

On my fleet it’s required anytime the runway is less than 7,000 feet, the pressure altitude is >7,000, runway is contaminated or you have a tailwind. I’ve got in the habit of doing it every leg, but it’s not required.
