Darn, beat me to it.
Sounds like a great idea. Hopefully Pasco doesn't skimp on the maintenance and training.

Talk about stirring the pot over some non-pilot employees.

Re: Here we go again
You can't fuel an aircraft with people on board and the doors closed. You need either a gate or air stairs if off gate. If you are forced to keep moving on a crowded ramp you will never get fuelled. Sounds like a mess. As someone above pointed out the apron in YOW is uncontrolled. More than a few t...

I must say I wish I didn't sell at $13, I am quite jealous. WJ might get back up in the high 20s by fall.

Re: AC Lining Up with a Taxiway SFO...?
Air Canada jet was 30 metres from colliding with 2 planes in San Francisco: TSB report  The summary said Air Canada Flight 759 had already travelled almost half a kilometre over the taxiway before aborting the landing. As the Airbus 320 pulled up sharply it flew 30 metres over the first two j...

I agree. An unusual situation for both the pilots sitting on the taxiway and the offset approaching Air Canada.

Re: AC Lining Up with a Taxiway SFO...?
Globe and Mail article today. Like I said, I doubt the FAA will be interested in the Air Canada sugar coating. Investigators looking into what caused an apparent close call involving an Air Canada flight at San Francisco International Airport are expected to examine whether human error or controller...

Re: AC Lining Up with a Taxiway SFO...?
Those old Airbus's don't seem to be doing that well with LNAV and VNAV these days. I doubt the FAA and TSB will be as nonchalant as Transport Canada was with AC624.

Sounds like the Airbus 320 is a piece of sh!t and AC's SOPs are inadequate.

Re: Controversy over US pilot shortage heats up
I have even heard that there was a bill in the early stages of the US government that would allow foreign pilots to get fast tracked to green card status. Just think - most of us live within 200 km of the border, speak English and have a very similar aviation background. Pretty easy transition if y...

Re: Air Canada putting bigger plane on Victoria-Toronto route
I am sure they ran the numbers on the field length. Victoria on 4-4.5 hour flight to and from YYZ is a cup in the bucket for fuel compared to the ETOPS fuel requirements of OGG. Question is can they make more money than WestJet's 737-8 vs their Rouge 767?

Could this announcement be the lead up to an even bigger announcement? Article February 14, 2017 Translated. Re: Gabor Lukacs calls WestJet
Technically the person did not have Gabor listed as someone who could modify his PNR. If you listen to the whole recording the guy just goes on and on and hardly lets the call centre person speak. I just think it's a little rich on Gabors part. How is that lawsuit against him going?
