Re: United, again.
As was posted earlier, all that people look at when booking a flight is price. A few months from now social media will have moved on to an offensive beer commercial or Beyonce's shoes and if United's flights are cheaper they will fill them. Maybe even over sell them That was true until now, Paid sl...

Re: United, again.
I am a private pilot, I do not pretend to know the rules and regulations of the airlines. I can see United not boarding the passenger. Regardless of rules and regulations. Someone at United needs to share in the culpability. Regardless how this guy reacted. There was no need for that scene. Especial...

New Partnership advice
Looking at purchasing a 172, or PA28. There will be 4-5 owners. How do you set up the operation to protect everyone. I've heard corporation but does that shield everyone? What about non-profit flying club? Our goal is to fly and have fun. Not a money making venture. Want to make sure everyone is pro...

Re: Oshawa Flight Training
Although it's not strictly relevant to the original question, for the sake of accuracy it's worth noting the following: Buttonville, Oshawa and Billy Bishop all have control towers. The waits at the island are not zero, but it's unusual for there to be more than two aircraft waiting for departure a...

Re: Porter Q400 Near Miss with Drone
I will have to tell you that a drone doesn't have the ability to fly at 9,000 feet or nearly 2745 m. A drone fly at 200m. 300m max is less than 1000 feet. We do not use meteo ballon since a while. we have google earth J. staellites and gps. no ballon is use by scientist in 2016. It look likes we ha...

Buy a 150 for 15-20K do your training, and sell it for a little less than you paid. The above calculation shows a conservative rental cost of 26k with tax thats 30K!!! Buy that 150 and save most of that money...Yes I know there are maintenance fees etc. but there is still a huge savings. If you can ...

Re: Diamond Flight Centre Experience
This is one experience. I am not trying to hate on Bill. But just curious as to why he would treat someone who is willing to give him business and recommend other pilots to the diamond world. It just seemed I was unwanted as a sole renter. I will not be returning this time. Anyone have any similar ...
