Re: Thunder Mustang destroyed in crash at Reno - video of cr

News video captures the cartwheeling, then introduces you to the pilot as he describes, something in the engine broke, he climbed to 2000 feet and the engine quit, he recalls right up to the wingtip hitting, then he said next thing he knew he was just sitting there! His biggest complaint, he lost hi...

Re: What's up with the Moderators on this site???

I agree with you, and feel out of respect alone - after all, if I'm going to take the time, research my topic, links, photos, sources etc., before I post - the least they can do is (as pprune does) leave a 'Moved' note and link.

What's up with the Moderators on this site???

Not bad, irked two nights in a row. Last night a thread was blocked, after I complained it was unblocked and I received an apology. However what irked me, was the Mod hadn't bothered to read the post, just assumed it was similar to another post from two weeks ago. http://www.avcanada.ca/forums2/view...

Re: Boomerang 203

No relation to the HSBC airplanes. Interesting story with this aircraft, it was bought brand new in 2007 by Colonial Bank of Montgomery Alabama - which is one of the many banks that failed in the US - the Feds took over the bank, closed it down - and sold off the assets, including N605CB their prize...

Get a Tim Horten's in there!!!!! Hey, Druxy's is overpriced, unfriendly, and dinky little sandwiches - I'm not a big guy - but I'd still be hungry after eating there!!! Frankly I've no idea how they turn a profit, I can only guess their rent must be subsidized somewhat. The local staff at YKZ seem t...

Found these interesting; Article from Wings Magazine from the article, 'In 1961 Millard set the airport on notice that he was playing for the long term when he purchased the old Toronto Flying Club hangars and had them moved to what became known as the ‘North Side’ of the airport. “Because of the si...

Millardair hangar question???

Just some questions about the Millardair hangar's at YYZ. Don't know the actual facts, but my days at Skyport in the 70's, I recall the stories that Carl Millard was the only operator at YYZ that actually owned the land. I also recall hearing, that the 3 original Millardair Bays, were actually moved...

However, Mustangs, Eclipse's, have had mishaps as well; as for the photos below - Mustang N54PV was repaired and is up and flying. Eclipse N333MY has not flown again as yet, accident was two years ago. The Phenom doesn't look bad?, however damage was reported as substantial. I guess it comes down to...
