I clearly thought it was real also and I’m in a union shop, I would not put it past bottom feeding companies from this type of ad. Ryanairish type of negative advertising!
So what is the real story, someone photoshopped it and passed it around on social media, then we’re fired?

It’s completely disgusting, that is all I got. Not even remotely fucking funny. I’m with the above opinion, park brake on until the morons behind this degrading advertising are fired, publicly!

The right to protest doesn’t trump public health orders and the article Rookie quoted doesn’t even. Reference the content I posted below. TEN TIMES THE NATIONAL AVERAGE and these brainiacs are out protesting public health orders, the hospitals in Manitoba are overwhelmed now, early on in the pandem...

At least that's what you're being told, and that was the answer that you accepted without doubt. People went out in the spring to film hospitals only to find them empty during the "COVID hospital bed shortage." Of course, MSM doesn't report that--It's a conspiracy theory. But it is on video. It's o...

Equivalent to a lifetime flight ban for not obeying the rules. Rookiepilot I think your views of encouragemen...

It’s amazing the amount of fear many here swallowed hook line and sinker. If you want to stay home and cower in fear, feel free. Let the others live their lives. People have totally lost all sense of reality that cold/flu/pneumonia have killed thousands every year and we somehow went about our live...

Aircraft cancellations
https://simpleflying.com/air-canada-a220-order-cancellation/ “Air Canada lost over half a billion dollars in the last quarter, and despite lowering cash burn to around $7 million a day, it is expecting a tough winter ahead. As part of its efforts to improve its position, it has deferred some new nar...

That was hard to read but I like a challenge, end result, I still have no idea what I read.[/quote]
I agree that was a difficult post to decipher, but in the end I have come to the conclusion that 2R has some kind of fetish that involves hair.

Thanks for the laugh!

The Float Test ? For a smart phone . The offshore oil industry has a similar term for things that are useless or persons unpopular . Give it the float test . Evil laughs all round once someone says what we were all thinking . Never mind the hair for men club auditions are nearly over and the contes...

Re: Chieftain Icing
Ok, fair enough, I’ve never seen the certified for anti ice/de ice stamp in any manuals or paperwork. I’ve been a Chief Pilot and Operations manager, PRM, including for start up airlines(twice). The only thing that was required in the ops manual was the plan(AGIP) for de ice, not even required for ...

Honestly though, don’t take this the wrong way, if you don’t know, this the company you work for has failed you. I don’t know of any aircraft specifically “certified to be sprayed”, Many aircraft are not certified to be sprayed. This means that the deicing liquid and anti icing liquid has not been ...

Re: More layoffs coming!
With a long term contract at Jazz (2035) and a looming scope grievance by ACPA. The fate of sky pilots is yet to be sealed. I hope the merge sky/Jazz, would probably be the best outcome for all regional pilots Anything is possible but I don't see AC ever putting all their "regional" eggs in one bas...

Re: Chorus to be sold ?
It is worth about $8 a share. The market is depressed, and everyone that watches Chorus has a valuation between $4 and $6. If someone is trying to buy it out, they would have to convince all the shareholders that their offer is superior to just waiting for the market to return. Personally, I would ...

Re: Chorus to be sold ?
So what kind of timeline are we looking at here? Days or weeks, not months. CHR may simply announce that no agreement was reached (offer rejected or withdrawn). There may be a period where CHR does due diligence on the offer presented. There may be a period of negotiation that results in a modified...

Re: Chorus to be sold ?
I think if it was AC, a lot of us who have been at Jazz for a long time, would prefer to keep things separate. I have no desire to wade into the multi year mess that a list merger would bring. It would interfere greatly with my zen, and likely increase my beer consumption. But I would love the iron...

Re: Chorus to be sold ?
Well let’s not get too carried away yet. We don’t know who it is or even if it will go through at all. If it were AC, I’d be happy if the lists were to remain separate though. I chose to stay at Jazz and have no desire to “fly the big planes” someday. Same here, I would much prefer to be a separate...

Re: Chorus to be sold ?
I don’t think that would happen, that road was taken the last time AC owned the regionals and a judge decided they were not “common employer”. In the US, mainline carriers own regionals with separate seniority list, just a better flow through agreement. This is 2020 so who knows what will happen. W...
