DualXGPS 150A. $80

Works perfect. It's been used about a dozen times.

Apparently a kit was delivered to Canada last year. No idea where it went. I found it in General Aviation news.

Re: Picus

Yes they will. Good luck getting any PICUS time though. You have to fly with an LTC for that and they're all tied up training new hires.

Re: GeeBee Z plans?

You can try Kevin Kimball in Florida. He built one that Kermit Weeks has. IF he will sell you plans I'm sure they would cost a small fortune. Here's a post of his from the biplane forum regarding the Model Z. Here's the link as well. http://www.biplaneforum.com/showthread.php?p=112750 The price I se...

Re: Headset for jets

I've used the Seneiser HMEC 45, Bose A20 and Halo. Hands down the Halo is the best and most comfortable headset I've ever owned. I used it on the CRJ for 2 years as well as on the Dash. Just as good noise reduction as the Bose at 1/3 the price.

Re: August Equipment Results

It's a temporary thing. The company is looking to change to a FTD for Evans. They are using up too much time on the Full motion sims apparently..

Re: headsets

I've had my QT Halo for 6 months now. I absolutely love this headset. After a 14 hour day you still don't notice you have them on. My previous headsets were a Bose A20, Senheiser Hmec25 and Telex Airman 750. This blows them all away as far as comfort and noise suppression go. The QT also has an Aux ...

Re: 5% per year

Not sure if this guy was an airshow pilot or not: http://dfw.cbslocal.com/2014/06/28/plane-crash-near-midlothian-1-believed-dead/ The pilot who was killed, James Edward Doyle, was the only person on-board. Witnesses in the area told officials that Doyle was performing aerobatic maneuvers when the p...

Re: Pitts special doing aerobatics, evening May 5th 2014

So I've been using the Halo QT headset for close to a month now. I find the noise reduction to be very close to the Bose, the Bose may have a slight edge. As far as comfort goes, hands down the Halo is way more comfortable. I've done quite a few 10-14 hour days with the halo and you don't even notic...

Thanks for the offer Colonel. I'll try doing that sometime this summer. I live at CMA2. It's not far from Smith Falls.

Re: Pitts special doing aerobatics, evening May 5th 2014

Sounds great. It's too bad the plane never really took off. Very few have been built. There is a new seller of kits and you can now get plans for it as we'll at http://www.ashcraftaeroworks.com/

Is the one you flew Canadian or US registered?
