Re: College of Pilots?
Education is obviously a desirable goal for everyone, however there are many ways to educate ones self. Re: College of Pilots?
What most of us need to realize is that this will likely never change. In fact, I have a feeling it will get worse. When flight schools are flat out lying to people, saying that there is a shortage of pilots or some crap like that just to make a buck, you know that we are not a "socially responsible...

Re: Have you ever been asked your AvCanada @ an Interview?
I was remembering back a few years ago when I was in Smithers, interviewing for their low time program. The people I was interviewing with asked me if I read AvCanada and if I posted on there. Of course, I said yes to both. They then proceeded to ask me what my ID was! I said to them "thats the bea...

Become a doctor (CAME) and then you can charge over $100 for a so called "medical" With that kind of money, you can then buy your own airplane and fly for fun. Oh yeah, I also forgot, you get to live a good life too.

To Loopa: comparing things to europe is a something I don't wanna hear anymore. I'm french and got licences in France, finished my course in june. And I'm in Canada now, through the FI rating. Why am I here? simply to avoid the dreadful jobmarket back in europe. Somebody right here was talking abou...

The Pultz Flight Instructor Manual is excellent.
Use it along with Sabrejet questions and you will be well prepared.

VFR Holding Procedures "When it is required by traffic, VFR flights may be asked to ORBIT visually over a geographic location, VFR checkpoint or call-up point (when these are published in the CFS or VTA charts) until they can be cleared to the airport. If the request is not acceptable, pilots shoul...

Re: maylan thread
I heard at least 1 aircraft got repo'd. TC shows they have over 40. Should be no problem... Usually it is a problem. Once one creditor seizes assets, the rest are usually very fast to follow. Think of C3. Glasgow airport seized a 330 and within a few hours, every other aircraft was seized. Okay so ...
