I know plenty of Canadian pilots working overseas that would love to come home if the company ever fixes the low wages issue.

Imagine you land your medevac jet in Fort Lake and the patient isn't there waiting. Freezing drizzle or wet snow starts falling. What's your move?

How do you even keep doing that job as a dinosaur? Don't they fly full duty days with dozens of drops in terrible turbulence? I don't think I would want to do that when I'm old.

I interviewed in November and got the background check request recently but it's been comm silence since then. Hoping it's the saying no news is good news. My background 4000+ hours...

3 days from interview to ground school offer. 8000 total time, 3500 large aircraft, 705 PIC, aviation diploma, overseas experience, internal recommend, white male. I was also told 6-8 weeks.
