Re: Adverse Reactions Poll

Also, at no point did the government claim the vaccine mandates were to stop the system from collapsing. Thats a pure garbage claim. Well… TORONTO — In response to a doubling in COVID-19 cases over the past two weeks, the real and looming threat of the collapse of the province's hospital system and...

Don't worry, Aviatard is all over it even though he doesn't live there. I bet he got 9 just to stay ahead of the game. No actually it’s 4, as recommended by my doctor. Because I have Crohn’s disease I take Humira injections. One of the side effects of Humira is immune system suppression: Patients t...

Re: Post vaccination drama, deaths and Jerry...

Look up Dr Makis who has documented not only pilots but DOCTORS succumbing to the jab via turbo cancers etc. Ironically the shortage of doctors is now multiplied and self inflicted via malpractice from the authorities and regulatory bodies and just plain stupidity. Oh you mean this guy? https://www...

Flight tests are valid for 1 year for licensing purposes however you cannot do the flight test unless you have done the INRAT in the previous 24 months.

It’s consecutive days or consecutive hours. It does not reset on December 31.

Re: CFI Charging $140 Etransfer to Submit Night Rating Application. Normal?

Charging $140 for a night rating application seems like a lot. I usually figure on 0.5 hours for it, since it really doesn't take much time to verify the times in a PTR, and fill out the form. It's hard to think how you could be "already multiple hours into it", unless you had the world's worst reco...

Re: Practice Question: NDB approach

You are flying an NDB approach to a runway with a final approach track of 082*M and are steering a heading of 087*M for anticipated wind correction. After crossing the beacon and approximately half the distance to the runway, the fixed card ADF indicates a relative bearing of 170*. Your position is...

Programming (or reprogramming when there is a clearance amendment) a 430/530 in rough air is not fun. Talking single pilot here. Agreed. The Garmin user interface on these units is abysmal. It’s really easy to punch the wrong thing and end up confusing yourself. It takes way too long just to enter ...

I am a businessman who learned to fly later in life, when I could finally afford it. Like every venture I have tried, I have approached it as a student. I believe, for a CAT I holder, as long as it hasnt expired completely (ie, revert to a CAT3 and then that isn't expired) you can renew by telemedicine back to a CAT 1. If anyone has experience with this please correct me. A cat 1 medical does not revert to a cat 3. You can exercise the privileges o...

45G of fuel doing circuits? I know the saying about the most useless things to a pilot but that's a mess load of circuits. Good to hear the pilot only had minor injuries. Do you like refuelling before every flight instead of once or twice a day? Pretty standard at a lot of schools to start the day ...
