At first the pilots don't get any indications in the cockpit and plan to go on to Kuala Lumpur. How does he know that? does WJ fly into any uncontrolled airports where they just join the circuit LOL ? :lol: but seriously though, don't they cancle IFR when they fly into places like Kelowna? My take on it is that at 250 hours can't be picky. If the job and opportunity for a right seat flying is there, grab onto it. Most cases are that you'll be upgraded to left and do fine. well in simple terms, if the guages don't look right to me, no matter the temptation of going flying, i am gluing my ass on the ground till i get reasoned for a safe flight, or untill i get a pat in the back for reporting it. he said sometimes the guages can have fluttering indications but it's fine... Although i should mention that the fuel pressure went back to normal after he came and we did a second run up, now the oil pressure rose only a little bit, but he tought at the end it was fine.... the thing that bugged me ...
