If you like teaching... get the job. If you don't like teaching... please stay in Calgary.

Do you currently have a flying job??? that would make your decision harder...

The photographer

I read this one in another forum..... The photographer for a national magazine was assigned to get photos of a great forest fire. Smoke at the scene was too thick to get any good shots, so he frantically called his home office to hire a plane. "It will be waiting for you at the airport!" he was assu...

Please forgive me if I say something stupid, I only have 200 hrs... BUT, IMHO buying a PPC will give you only a few hours of "experience" in a particular airplane. Buying a plane will give you a lot of experience maintaining (meaning REALLY TAKING CARE OF) a plane... plus the fact that you w...

Pugster...that makes no sence at all. If I were looking for instructors, unless I needed them to teach on a twin, I wouldn't touch one WITH a multi-ifr...the phone would ring...and off they'd go. Doc, You just gave me some hope (since I'm planning to get the Instructor Rating soon but the Multi-IFR...

Hi there I need the manual of the Cessna 172S model 2000. I've been trying to find it in ebay with no luck. A couple of US web sites sell them... but the shipping is as expensive as the manual itself :? . Anybody willing to sell me one (or maybe give me some pointers where I can find one)? it could ...

My understanding is that most countries in Central and South America require good knowledge of the native language (Spanish or Portuguese) and I know a few of them where the big airlines only hire citizens. But, my experience is limited to a few countries only. I'm sure there is people in the site t...
