Once this happens everyone who is sitting on any sort of deposit will be climb over each other to pump it out while its still worth something. Cue total shit-show in the Middle East. I'll check...

It is essentially the same thing, except that peak demand was made up after people realized peak oil wasn't materializing. Just some other made up event in the medium term future by alarmists to get the crowds going. Its the polar opposite actually, and it will happen. Its only a question of when.
