Re: PA28 Checkout
No one needs a 5 hour checkout in a PA28. And that is the kind of Top Gunnery that gets Cherokee Pilots killed. Flying the beast is an exercise in riding the knife edge. When I'm in the air I go by call sign "Flying Nik" because any slip up can result in disaster. The Cherokee is a brutally unforgi...

Don't beat yourself up too badly. In that situation who could blame you for shitting your pants? I mean that probably ruined your daughters recital, but it happens.mantogasrsrwy wrote:..

Where does it end? What if the passenger needs the plane to fly at sea level cabin pressure, what if they need to have the the plane only make left turns? Can only ride on a plane that serves vegetarian menu items to everyone on board? Can't be flown or served by crew of a particular background etc...

Congratulations! And trust me this actually an asset for entering aviation!
By the time you get to it you will already be used to having no money, used to endless shit, and used listening to the incessant crying and whining of others.

Re: Falsifying a commercial aircraft logbook
I think that the TC inspector summarily tries the offender, and when found guilty, their head is caved in with a cylinder from a R-985 and their corpse is strung up from the windsock with a sign around their neck with the words "Pilots, ye be warned" on it, while the local Student Pilots dance aroun...

Re: question on civilian buying aircrafts
If you want one, you better present your case to the US State Department and explain why, under the ITAR, you should be allowed to own and operate a fire control radar. Cause OP is a US citizen as well, and it's his 2nd Amendment right Goddamnit! How is he ever supposed to protect him and his famil...

And how people ask for any traffic please advise. Other people have that happen too right? Are there people doing that in any other part of the country? Huh guys? Huh? Has anyone brought this up before? Like at all? Like in the history of aviation in Canada? Right guys?

Maybe they collect ice and the extra weight causes more wear and tear on the lines and their supports?

Coming home in a Super Cub and it was snowing with very poor visibility. I decided to follow right over the highway at low altitude with the idea they cannot build a tower right over the highway. But they can curve the highway around the tower. Fortunatley vis picked up enough I could see the curve...

This was my big one: http://www.avcanada.ca/forums2/viewtopic.php?f=54&t=65719&hilit=touch+go What tales can you share that the rest of us may derive a l...
