What would you do with 10 HondaJets ???

Post by bizjets101 »

There have been some big failures in the light jet market - from Day Jet in the USA to several companies in Europe that barely got off the ground and then went nowhere.

In Canada we have AirSprint - and in USA they have Wheels Up and JetSuite.

Of these JetSuite - which operate Phenom 100's and CJ3's - have grown to the 5th largest operator of bizjets in the USA by hours - in just 5 years.

So curious if you where to set up a service in Canada with HondaJets - Air Taxi, Membership, Franctional?, a combination - any ideas???

I would operate them fractional under FAA part 91.

Far more sane compared to Canada.

The hardest thing about flying is knowing when to say no

After over a half a century of flying no one ever died because of my decision not to fly.

All the fracs operate and train under part 135 ( charter rules).
The vast majority of the flying done is from card owners ( part 135 ) and not the "share" owners who fly part 91k.
A lot more people out there who have $100k for 25 hours rather then the 1/8 or 1/4 share price.
