Blackcomb aviation
I was on the blackcomb aviation website recently and found a note that said they have ceased their fixed wing department to focus on the rotary side.
What happened to the fixed wing department, aircraft and employees?

Good Question??
Both C550's are still active, but C680 went to Anderson Air, the F2000EX I assume was managed, so it's no longer with Omega Air - reg to ON numbered company but still at YVR, the PC12 same thing, still around - new registered owner ... and C182T transferred to Blackcomb.

Re: Blackcomb aviation
Cut throat competition among YVR bjzjet charter companies made them reevaluate their fixed wing operation. And guess what? Right after they cease operations, their cut throat competitor that never made a profit on their aircraft operations side of things then puts itself up for sale, citing their business model as no longer viable. Everyone loses.
In any case, the Falcon, last i heard, was going to be run on its own....no management company. As for the rest, i know only as much as was already posted.

On that note, I'm assuming you are talking about London air services?
Any word if anyone has been interested in buying them up?

Re: Blackcomb aviation
They are going to piece off the company, absolutely nobody is going to pay what their
asking, they are just greedy - everyone, especially the employee's will lose in the end.
They just sold one of their Challengers a 604 C-FKMC and they have Learjet 75 C-FMGL
listed for sale.
Also the Shell Aerocenter - The Shell business not the FBO - are for sale.

That's too bad. London air services, along with Blackcomb aviation were 2 companies I would have liked to work for.

You sure about that? If it is related to LAS, you are probably thinking of the ESSO/Signature location, no? The shell business is corporate and at the landmark FBO. I think Imperial oil has been planning on extricating itself from the FBO fueling business for the last couple years.bizjets101 wrote:

Re: Blackcomb aviation
So the shell fuel business is up for sale. It must be just a coincidence that Landmark is also for sale.
