From what I've heard the pay is in the 30s and the bond is $10,000 cash up front.
Re: Smooth air charter/air Nunavut
Last loser I knew who went there had to pay 10k upfront. Bad pay, they do give you housing or an allowance. You will get to see Greenland. The people who work there are the people no one wants to give experience too. Got a licence did a few piston jobs but just can't get past it. So they go there to get some hours and then they have more then their charming personality. Airlines for the most part won't care about your stepping stones. If you want to pay a bond upfront and live in YFB for 1 year then go for it. A sucker is born every moment. If people would just stop doing this....

Sounds like a pretty crappy job! Yeah, don’t hand money for a job people!!! This shit needs to stop NOW!
Re: Smooth air charter/air Nunavut
Unfortunately there are still some “reputable” mid-size 704/705 asking for bonds ranging anywhere from $10 to $30gs repaid over a period up to 24 months
What if they go under...will you get your bond (balance of) back? Take a number with the other creditors!

The cash flows only one way. From the employer to the employee. I don’t like bonds, but understand why they exist.
So, if you do sign a bond, make sure it’s fair and never pay anything out of pocket.
If the company won’t pay for your training (bond or no bond) bounce.
Simple as that.
