Good to see them doing well. I wonder where they'll base them?

London Drugs Corporate Office
If you are not familiar with LAS, it is owned by London Drugs, based in Richmond, BC - all aircraft are based at YVR.
Basically, LAS was the corporate flight department of London Drugs, turned into its own division.

I thought their fleet was about 5 aircraft. To double your fleet, I figured they might try to explore other markets.

The 85's are ordered, but that doesn't mean they will get all 5. Those production positions will be worth a fair chunk of change on their own.sissyphus wrote:I thought their fleet was about 5 aircraft. To double your fleet, I figured they might try to explore other markets.
Initially, the 85's were intended to replace the 45's, but with the higher operating cost of the 85, they will probably keep at least a couple 45's around. I would estimate that the fleet is not going to double with the addition of the 85's...for sure some 45's will go away. Unless demand is high, of course, then anything can happen!
It is highly highly unlikely that LAS will ever base aircraft anywhere other than YVR, unless, that is, the current management team were to be totally replaced.
