Bombardier pilots website?

Post by pelmet »

Is there a Bombardier website that is out there with access allowed to pilots of Bombardier aircraft who have an access password. I heard about it and apparently there are accident reports on it?

Trying to figure out a way to access the reports.

There is a customer website but you need to buy an airplane before you can get on the site.

XSbank, no website for public access, but you can import a link and post it on your company email application homepage, the one your get once you open the application. The link will take you to a private server which has every freaking incident/accident with pics and it's classified by aircraft type. It even include the reports of the flight crew in charge at the time of the incident. The link I had did not include the business jets, only the CRJ/Dash aircrafts. I don't know where to get the said link, it was emailed to me by a buddy at Dehavilland, but I know Flight ops and engineering have that. maybe you can ask somebody there.
I've been out of there since June 09 on a 1 year LOA, but I can ask friends to send you a link.......pm me if you want to.

one last thing, the customer website, both of the regional aircraft and the business one contains no incident/accidents data.

cap'n P8,

not the bnet homepage, I was talking about your email application once it's loaded and you had logged in.You see a desktop like page with icons showing your inbox and other links. The way it's done, is for somebody to send you the link as an attachement to an email( from within the company), you click on the link and it will install itself on the home page of your email program. Then, you just have to click on the icon and it'll take you to the server I was talking about. This thing should be distributed to every email account at BA, but it's not. As you know, BA is an excellent employer, the best I ever had so far, but it's a mess when it comes to getting access to company resources or enabling applications. But hey, nobody is perfect, right !

Okay, I'm having a bit of a brain fart...if I remember correctly, I have to click on Lotus notes to get to my email. I'll have to take a look for it next time I'm in the office.

Cheers!

Are you asking about the Bombardier CIC website?

There is lots on information on Bombardier aircraft there; from AFM's to SB's to the Newsletter etc. etc.

You do have to sign up to get a user name and password though.
