Flight Planning
Does anyone have any feedback on flight planning providers for domestic as well as international use for a small corporate operation?

Re: Flight Planning
Skyplan and Colt. Both in Calgary. Both can do your flight planning and any handling and overflight / landing permits throughout the world. Also both are able to provide you with fuel pricing as well.
Kowalski: Sir, we may be out of fuel.
Skipper: What makes you think that?
Kowalski: We've lost engine one, and engine two is no longer on fire.

Re: Flight Planning
We currently use Alan at Flight Plan Solutions (out of California, I believe.) He's especially good for the Central America/Caribbean stuff, and I've dealt with him for several trips through multiple African countries and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Re: Flight Planning
We have a small department with 3 planes and go all over creation.
We use Universal Aviation for all our nav, overflight permits, Eapis, fuel, hotels, slots, EU-ETS reports, etc.
What you save on hotels and fuel alone probably pays for their fees.

Jeppesen also has the same thing. http://www.jeppesen.com/aviation/business/

Re: Flight Planning
Back when I flew corporate, we used Universal and always had great service. Did use Jep service for just under a year also and also good service, but I believe it was more costly if I recall correctly.
Re: Flight Planning
Another vote for universal - the best I have dealt with. Haven't used colt for flight planning but depending where you are in the world they sometimes have better fuel prices than uvair. That being said on any legs shorter than about three hours I usually just use fltplan.com for flight planning. I use universal for any legs longer than that and of course on any legs requiring you to have accurate boundary times on the plan.
