Montreal-based Bombardier Inc. has agreed to sell Flexjet, a service that allows business executives to buy a share in or lease a private jet, to a group led by U.S. private equity firm Directional Aviation Capital for $185 million US.

Directional Aviation's order to Bombardier is the largest in Flexjet's history. The order includes a firm commitment to 25 Learjet 75 aircraft, 30 composite Learjet 85s, 20 Challenger 350s and 10 Challenger 605 jets. It also is buying 160 options for further Lear and Challenger jets.
