Are those aftermarket? They look different to the winglets on the "new" sovereign.

They are aftermarket mods for all "old" sovereigns. Last time in ICT, they were trying to drop hints on them. They are essentially scaled down citation x winglets. Elliptical design. On,y cessna service centers can install them. I am not sure on price and numbers, but will be in the know soon.

Anderson Air YVR will be the first Canadian Sovereigns to have them. (from the Grapevine.) Will be interesting to see what actual improvements they will provide. Does make it look even nicer.

That's the new 680 equipped with Garmin. We had it at the hangar last summer when it was passing thu on a demo tour. Cockpit is totally redesigned, and really nice, surprised me how nice it was laid out. Not like a typical Cessna. The back end is designed to be more spacious. The sweeplets gives it an extra 200 miles range and better TO and LDG performance.

They aren't even close to being ready for certification. They are doing testing and have done some promotional photo shoots at the Wichita service center. They didn't have prices or performance numbers but I was told 1-2 years before they are ready for purchase. 6 week downtime for installation and tweaking. These are aftermarket additions to "classic" sovereigns. These are not the winglets for the g5000 "new" sovereign fleet. I highly doubt that Anderson air has made any decision on these.

Anderson Air Ltd first to sign on in 2013.

Decent numbers from testing? http://www.winglet-technology.com/press ... rmance.pdf
"Flight testing has confirmed a 12-14 KTAS speed increase at FL450, direct climb to FL450 at the higher take-off weight in under 26 minutes, and a 205 NM range increase for payloads under 1,200 lbs and a 265 NM increase for payloads over 1,450 lbs. “Extensive back-to-back flight testing has validated our pre-test predictions,” said Bob Kiser, President and Managing Member of Winglet Technology, LLC. “The Elliptical Winglets are a great high altitude compliment to the Sovereign’s outstanding short field performance that provides operators with even greater operational flexibility.” October 17th, 2014.

Wonder if/when they will have them installed? They look great!
