Geocaching

#1 Post by Beefitarian » Fri Sep 14, 2018 7:58 am

I started doing this sort of unintentionally. It gives my wife a good way to lure me into going for pretty long walks which is something I need.

You can buy a premium membership but I'm too cheap. I have bought a travel bug and a commemorative coin.

I too occasionally do some geocaching. Great thing to do with kids, they love it :)

Also, since we travel a lot in our line of work, there are tons of new places to discover all over the planet.

Funny you mention that. First few days they loved it. Our son even put on a pirate hat. Soon enough the wife and I got too excited and went too often now they dread it.

Moderation applies to everything doesn't it :)

I definetly don't over do it but when we do go, kids are always excited :)

I've heard about this moderation thing.

The wife and canines got over excited and wanted to go every day looking for a few.

It is an excellent way to get us off the furniture. Never got into hiking but going to look for a hidden box to write on seems much more fun. I really like moving the travel bugs too.
