You lost your medical -

Post by JAG »

Now what?

What would you do? You have no other qualifications. Anything you have experience in pays little. Further education is years in the past. Living ain't cheap. You have a family, a mortgage, and bills.

I would stop complaining about ground rigs scooping up ag pilot work. Furthermore, I would start complaining ag pilots scooping up ground rig work .... then take one of my aerial applicators licenses, convert it, and start working the ground rigs. Pick the right niche industry and your experience and qualifications are still useful on the ground. :D

Though, I would probably also pick up a new trade in the off season. Become an electrician?

Goodness no. Become a plumber. Way better treatment and pay. Unless you start to miss back stabbing and several guys in line to do your job for less pay. In that case Electrician is the way to go!
