After many years of recording the history of Ryan airplanes, including Charles A. Lindbergh's "Spirit of St. Louis", the time has come for me to spend the rest of my life in other lifelong interests, desires, plans, and "smelling the roses."
This word has taken it's toll on my personal life, and in some ways, my family. The notoriety (wrote five books on the subject), fame and fun, what little there was of it has taken it's toll also.
The time has come to part with my large collection of archival Ryan/Spirit material, and this includes all of my original drawings, prints, manuals, etc. that I created in order to build a replica Ryan ST-R airplane, one of the most beautiful classics ever designed in the thirties.
So - if you have a desire to purchase any of this material, some of which I have offered for sale over the years, you had best get a move on. Once it is gone, it may not be available again, as I have no idea if any new owner will make it available.
